Aspen Enterprises – CMC provides property management, as well as marketing and advertising support, for a 12-unit, market-rate, multi-family rental property. CMC also coordinates State weatherization efforts with the local community agency for this property.

Complete Home Solutions – CMC ensures compliance with all MBE reporting related to Complete Home Solutions State of Maryland Weatherization contract.

Crescent Investments / 301 Property Management – CMC provides oversight and management of 21 unit Multi-Family apartment complex. Duties include development and administration of tenant selection, collection of rents, enforcement of lease provisions,
marketing, and advertising.

Highway Sunoco – CMC was hired to prepare and develop a business plan.

Housing Authority of St. Mary’s County – CMC provides overall site management for a 65-unit multi-family apartment complex. Duties include development and administration of tenant selection, collection of rents, enforcement of lease provisions, marketing and advertising, maintenance, and inspections.

CMC also has written the Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant application for the Housing Authority in support of its efforts to address increasing foreclosures and abandoned units in the county.

KIA of Waldorf – CMC was hired to design and obtain banners to market local community events.

Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development – CMC was retained to manage the update of the State of Maryland/Department of Housing and Community Development’s Community Development Block Grant Guidebook. The Guidebook is the publication provided to every jurisdiction in the State that participates in the CDBG program to provide the information necessary for proper implementation of all CDBG rules and regulations. CMC was selected to update the Guidebook based on its extensive knowledge of the federal and state rules and regulations, as well as its 20+ years of working with CDBG grants and programs.

Patuxent Habitat for Humanity – CMC was retained to provide all necessary work to administer the CDBG project known as Patuxent Habitat/Calvert County/ Mason Road House Build, including compliance with administrative requirements, reporting, record-keeping and documentation, Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity issues, financial management, and acquisition.

St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation – CMC was selected as the exclusive advertising agent for STS vehicles and shelters. CMC is responsible for development all required marketing materials, setting rates, soliciting advertisers, designing advertisements, and overseeing sales staff. With its partner D&G Kustom, CMC is also responsible for installation and maintenance of all placed advertising. CMC provides the contracted financial obligation to support STS operations each month, along with required reports and documentation. CMC coordinates with other county agencies to obtain and maintain necessary permits.

Southern Maryland Tri-County Community Action Committee, Inc. – CMC provides property management for all seven (with more than 200 individual units) of SMTCCAC’s multi-family, affordable housing communities throughout the Southern Maryland region. CMC provides all on-site property management, as well as asset management requirements of LIHTC investors, USDA/Rural Development, MD DHCD, and the Housing Assistance Council of Washington, DC.

Additional projects with SMTCCAC include:

  • preparation of Multi-Family Housing Revitalization Demonstration Program application for Diggs Circle, to provide capital rehabilitation for the 20-unit affordable housing community
  • general housing management and consulting services regarding preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and personnel selection and support
  • development of the USDA/RD housing preservation grant
  • oversight and implementation of Weatherization and ARRA programs
  • advertising sales and administration for the Friendly Health Services vehicles operated by SMTCCAC
  • advertising and marketing support of the housing projects

Southern Maryland Tri-County Community Action Committee, Inc., & USDA/Rural Development – CMC was retained to fully implement the Mutual Self-Help Housing program, designed to enable low-income families to become first-time homeowners. CMC was responsible for full implementation of the program:

  • from advertising and identifying potential homeowners to processing loan applications and qualifying families, including providing credit counseling as necessary
  • from coordinating with vendors for supplies and materials to managing all construction activities of the participant families and construction supervisors
  • from financial management of family construction finances to grants administration and reporting to various funding agencies.

Victor Enterprises – CMC was hired to prepare and develop a business plan.

Washington Street Partners – CMC was hired to prepare, research, and develop a state-sponsored Business Works loan application for building renovations and proposed economic development improvements in the Town of Leonardtown.

Wells Fargo United States Loans & Various Private Individuals – CMC provided HUD 203K Consulting services for home purchases, including home inspections, feasibility assessments, and the required 203K compilation report.

ZVN – CMC was retained to provide vendor management and housing preservation for multi-style units through Calvert and St. Mary’s County. CMC provided coordination of vended and contracted services to maintain the physical integrity of vacant units and their environment.
